Holly and Ivy

Holly and Ivy (known as The Holly and The Ivy) is a traditional British folk Christmas carol, listed as number 514 in the Roud Folk Song Index.

This arrangement for trombone quartet can be played by any intermediate-skilled trombone quartet. The bass trombone goes as low as pedal A and the trombone 1 goes up to a high Bb, by only as the last note. The melody is shared throughout the arrangement between each of the four parts which keeps it interesting and engaging for each of the trombonists.
